Body Language

I love to draw, but I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to it like I used to in the past. My favorite thing to draw is the human body; it's also one of the hardest. I'm still mastering it, but here are a few of my pieces.

This is from my life drawing class. We were told not to look at our paper and just draw the contours of her body. The only time we could lift our charcoal was to start on a new area of her body, so it's a continuous line creating her.


This is from my watercolor class I took in college. I love to design with type and thought I'd give it a shot with watercolor.


Above is a picture I did just for fun. My husband received an anatomy book, and as I was looking through it I decided to draw what I saw.
